Migrate to a team account
Migrate from a personal DeepSource account to a team account to access Team plan features.
Personal accounts run on the free Individual plan, which doesn't include several capabilities that are only available on the Team plan:
- SCA — dependency and vulnerability scanning
- Monorepo support
- Webhooks
- Audit logs
- AI Review credits
The Team plan also requires a VCS organization, so it can't be enabled on a personal account directly. See the plan comparison for full details. To migrate from a personal account:
Add the organization to DeepSource
Open the account switcher in the DeepSource sidebar and select the new organization, or visit app.deepsource.com/installation/providers/.
Transfer your repositories
Transfer the repository from your personal account to the new organization.
Transfer the project to the new group namespace.
Transfer the repository to the new workspace.
Azure DevOps does not support cross-organization repo transfer. Use Import Repository (recommended) or git clone --mirror + push. PR history, work items, and wiki stay on the source organization.
For moves between projects in the same organization, use Move Git repositories — full history preserved.
DeepSource analysis history (issues, occurrences) does not carry over. Your analysis configuration is set up fresh on the new owner — either re-read from .deepsource.toml in the repo, or regenerated automatically.
Start the Team plan
In the team dashboard, go to Settings > Billing to start the trial or upgrade. See Billing for pricing.
AI Review credits and team members do not transfer from a personal account — purchase credits and invite members on the new team.
